A bookkeeper for
your vof.
Running a business together is the fun part, filing two tax returns less so. We take over the bookkeeping for your vof, the Dutch general partnership, and handle the returns for both partners, for a fixed amount per month. One regular bookkeeper who knows you both, answers the same working day, and a profit split recorded exactly as the two of you agreed it.

Why vofs choose Pebble.
One regular contact
You get a regular bookkeeper and familiar faces behind them: Dennis, Fay and Melih. Either partner can call or message us, and we already know the context.
One fixed monthly fee
You know what you pay upfront, including the quick questions in between. If a partner or an employee joins, we agree the new fee with you in advance.
Clear on everyone’s share
Who put in what, and who gets which part of the profit? We track that per partner and carry it through to your figures and both returns, so you are both looking at the same overview.

What we handle
for your vof.
Your bookkeeping
We process income and expenses and keep the numbers current all year.
Your VAT return
We calculate what the vof owes or gets back and file on time every quarter.
The profit split
We record which share of the profit goes to whom and make sure it adds up everywhere.
Income tax per partner
Each partner declares their own share. We prepare those returns and make sure you claim the deductions Dutch entrepreneurs are entitled to, such as the self employed deduction.
Thinking ahead at the turning points
Hiring your first employee, a third partner joining, or wondering whether a BV is smarter? Dennis is a registered tax adviser and runs the numbers for you. That is part of the relationship, not a separate assignment.
Switching to us is quickly sorted.
Do you already work with a bookkeeper, or have you been doing it yourselves? If there is a bookkeeper, we get in touch with them and make sure everything is handed over properly. If you did it yourselves, we collect the data and get everything ready. Then we set up your administration and connect the systems, so the numbers add up from day one. There is one thing left for you to do: say yes. You can switch at any point in the year, including halfway through a quarter.

Curious what a bookkeeper
for your vof costs?
Frequently asked questions.
Does a vof need a bookkeeper?
No, it is not required. What is required: proper records kept for seven years, vat returns for the partnership, and an income tax return for each partner. Many partnerships outsource it because with two partners you have two returns and one profit split that all have to line up. We take that whole package off your hands.
How does the profit split work in a vof?
You agree the split yourselves, usually recorded in the partnership deed. For tax purposes each share counts as your own business profit, so you pay income tax on your share, not on the total. We apply the agreed split to your figures and both returns, and explain what each of you is left with.
What does a bookkeeper for a vof cost?
A fixed amount per month, from 65 euro excluding VAT. The fee depends on the size of your bookkeeping and the number of partners. Our calculator shows you in two minutes what it would be for you.
We are considering becoming a BV. Can you help with that?
Yes. Dennis is a registered tax adviser, so we work out what a BV would mean for you: the tax, what you keep after tax, and the best moment to make the move. If staying a vof is smarter for now, we will tell you that too.
Can we switch mid financial year?
Yes, at any point. We collect the figures up to that moment from your bookkeeper or from your own records, connect them to the rest of the year, and pick up where things left off.

Let’s have a quick chat.
Fifteen minutes, free, with one of the two of us. We ask how your vof is
set up and what is currently piling up, and you hear straight away what
we would do and what it costs. After that you decide in your own time.
