Bookkeeping and tax when
you’re just starting out.
You’re starting, and everything arrives at once: which legal structure fits, do you need a VAT number, what can you deduct. We take over your bookkeeping and your taxes from your first invoice onwards, for a fixed monthly fee starting at €65 per month (excl. VAT). You keep your time and your head for your first clients. Ask us something and you’ll hear back the same working day.

What we sort out
for you.
The right legal structure
We look at whether a sole proprietorship (eenmanszaak), a partnership (vof) or a private limited company (bv) suits you, now and a few years from now. Each one has its own tax rules, so we do the maths on what it means for you.
Your registration and your vat
We walk you through your Chamber of Commerce (KvK) registration and make sure your vat id is in order, so you can invoice straight away.
Your bookkeeping, set up
We set up your accounting software and connect your business bank account. From your first receipt, everything lands where it should.
Your returns and your deductions
We file your VAT returns and your income tax, and we watch for the schemes you’re entitled to as a new entrepreneur. The startersaftrek, for example: an extra amount you may deduct from your profit in your first years, which lowers your tax bill.

How we get you going,
and what it costs.
We start with an intro call of 15 minutes. You tell us what you’re building, we tell you what you need to get started and which legal structure makes sense. After that you get a proposal with a fixed monthly fee from €65 per month (excl. VAT), based on your business. No meter running when you call.
Say yes and we set up your bookkeeping and connect your systems. From then on you send in receipts and invoices, and we watch the deadlines. You get one regular contact person you know by name. If your business grows, we agree on the new fee with you beforehand, so an invoice never catches you off guard.

We still fit
when you grow.
Bookkeeping and tax advice sit under one roof here, with a registered tax adviser (register belastingadviseur) in the team. You won’t notice that in your first month. You will notice it when you hire your first employee, convert your sole proprietorship into a bv, or think about dividends for the first time (profit you pay out to yourself from your bv). Those steps happen with the same people who already know your books.
This works well if you want to hand your finances over completely. If you’d rather keep doing the books yourself and have someone check them once a year, that’s a fine choice, but it isn’t how we work: we take the whole year off your hands, from receipt to return. Not sure which one you are? Bring it up in the intro call and we’ll tell you honestly what we think.

We handle
the switch.
If you already have a bookkeeper, the switch takes about two weeks. We contact your current firm, collect your records and set everything up on our side. Then we connect your bank and your invoicing tool so your figures come in from day one. You do one thing: say yes.
If you prefer to do the bookkeeping yourself and only want a check at year end, accounting software is the easier route. If you want it fully off your plate and still want to know where you stand, you are in the right place: you build the business, we keep the figures and the tax office in order.

Curious what a
bookkeeper costs?
Frequently asked questions.
Do I need a bookkeeper as a new business owner?
It isn’t compulsory. You are responsible for keeping accurate records and filing on time. Most people hire us in year one because that’s where the choices are: legal structure, VAT, deductions. Get that right from day one and you won’t have to unpick it later.
Eenmanszaak or bv: which suits me?
It depends on the profit you expect and the risk you carry. A sole proprietorship is simpler and tax-friendly at modest profits; a bv becomes more interesting once more of your profit stays in the business or when you want to limit your liability. We run both scenarios for you in the intro call, with actual numbers.
What does a bookkeeper cost when you’re starting out?
With us, from €65 per month (excl. VAT), covering your bookkeeping, your VAT returns and your income tax. What you pay depends on your legal structure and the volume of invoices and receipts. Our pricing tool gives you an estimate in a minute.
Do I have to apply for vat?
Usually not separately: when you register with the KvK, the Dutch Tax Administration assesses whether you’re a VAT entrepreneur and sends you a VAT ID and a turnover tax number. If you expect to stay under €20,000 in turnover, the small businesses scheme (KOR) may be worth it: you don’t charge VAT and you don’t file VAT returns. We look at which option is smarter for you at the start.
I’ve kept the books myself for a few months. Can you take it over?
Yes. You send us what you have, we move it into our system and check the returns already filed. If something is off, we correct it. From the handover, it runs with us.
